Tracking progress

Tracking your progress

How can you track your progress?

A profiling wheel can help with this, you can shade in areas post training and then as you improve keep shading the same sectors to illustrate how you have improved.

It can be helpful to talk through this process with a peer. You can then monitor each others progress.

You may decide to track particular skills or behaviours, or perhaps certain syllabus areas.

Have you got any other ways of tracking progress? If so, please share in the comments below.

The Performance Profile file gives you a step by step guide to profiling yourself and checking back at a later date.

Have a go at making profiles for different syllabus areas and tasks you know you will be asked to perform at assessment .

Key points;

  • Be honest about where you are
  • Tracking progress helps us see what needs work and reduces the chances of missing an area
